Analytics

TL;DR:

  • Analytics combines workspace-level performance and audience reporting in one place.
  • Filter by date range, bot, and scenario to focus on the traffic you care about.
  • Full analytics access depends on both your subscription and your workspace role.

Who this is for

  • Owners and admins monitoring bot performance.
  • Operators comparing audience growth across bots.
  • Builders investigating which scenarios convert, stall, or attract the most traffic.

What you will learn

  • What the Performance and Audience tabs show.
  • How filters affect snapshot cards, charts, and user lists.
  • When scenario analytics becomes available for deeper drill-down.

Overview

The Analytics area turns raw bot activity into reporting you can actually use. It combines summary metrics, time-based charts, audience breakdowns, and scenario-level insights in one workspace view.

The page is filter-driven. You can narrow results by date range, bot, and scenario so the cards and charts reflect only the subset you want to review.

Key concepts

  • Snapshot cards - High-level metrics such as messages, users, sessions, and conversions for the active filter set.
  • Performance tab - Traffic, runtime, and scenario-oriented reporting.
  • Audience tab - Audience composition, traffic sources, countries, and recent-user lists.
  • Scenario analytics - Deeper insights that become meaningful when you focus on a single bot and optionally a single scenario.

How it works

  1. Open Analytics and choose a date range.
  2. Filter by one bot or all bots in the workspace.
  3. Optionally narrow further to a single scenario.
  4. Review the snapshot cards, charts, and supporting tables for the current filter set.

TIP

Start broad with all bots, then drill into one bot when you need scenario-level detail.

WARNING

Scenario filtering only becomes available after selecting a single bot, so it is easy to think scenario analytics is missing when the current scope is still too broad.

In the UI

The page is split into a filter area, summary metrics, and tabbed reporting.

  • Location: Analytics in the main workspace navigation.
  • Main controls:
    • Date range - Sets the reporting window. The current page opens with a recent default range.
    • Bot filter - Switch between all bots or a single bot.
    • Scenario filter - Narrow reporting to one scenario when a single bot is selected.
    • Performance / Audience tabs - Toggle between operational and audience reporting.

What you can see

Performance

  • Snapshot metrics for messages, users, sessions, and conversions.
  • Daily activity charts and runtime-oriented reporting.
  • Scenario performance tables when one bot is selected.

Audience

  • Audience overview cards.
  • Traffic sources and country breakdowns.
  • Recent user lists for support and follow-up workflows.

Scenario analytics

  • Scenario performance - High-level summary of your scenario activity.
  • Scenario Insights - Deeper drill-down into node-level funnels, drop-offs, and technical health.

Group Moderation

  • Analytics -> Group Moderation shows violations, deleted messages, mutes and bans for your moderated groups, compared with the previous period.
  • A daily chart by penalty, plus top reasons, top offenders and per-group numbers.
  • Filter by bot and date range (there is no scenario filter — moderation is not tied to scenarios). See Group Moderation.

Access and gating

  • Analytics can be plan-gated. If the feature is locked, the page shows an upgrade overlay instead of charts.
  • Workspace roles still apply. Use the Roles & Permissions page to confirm who can access reporting features.

Examples

Example 1 - Compare campaign traffic across bots

Goal: See which bot handled the most engagement this week.
Setup: Open Analytics, keep the scope on all bots, and review the performance tab for the selected period.
Result: You get a quick operational overview before drilling into one bot for detailed analysis.

Example 2 - Investigate a weak scenario

Goal: Understand why one bot flow is underperforming.
Setup: Select a single bot, then narrow the filter to the scenario you want to inspect.
Result: Scenario-level reporting becomes easier to read, and you can compare performance against the rest of the bot.

Troubleshooting

Symptom: The page shows a lock overlay

Cause: Analytics is not available on the current subscription state or the feature is disabled for the workspace.
Fix: Restore or upgrade the subscription, then reload the page.
Prevention: Check plan availability before promising analytics access to teammates.

Symptom: Scenario filter is disabled

Cause: You are still viewing all bots instead of one specific bot.
Fix: Choose one bot first, then open the scenario filter again.
Prevention: Treat scenario analytics as a drill-down, not a workspace-wide starting point.

Symptom: Charts are empty

Cause: The selected date range or filters do not match recent activity.
Fix: Expand the date range, switch to all bots, or inspect the audience tab for user-level confirmation.
Prevention: Start with a broader time window when troubleshooting a quiet bot.

FAQ

  • Q: What is the difference between Performance and Audience?
A: Performance focuses on operational metrics such as messages, sessions, conversions, and scenario activity. Audience focuses on who the users are and where they come from.

  • Q: Can I analyze one scenario directly?
A: Yes, but the UI first expects you to choose a single bot. After that, scenario filtering becomes available.

  • Q: Is analytics real-time?
A: The page reads current reporting data when you apply filters, but the product docs do not currently expose a separate manual retention or refresh setting in the UI.
